CheckRezerve Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

This privacy policy relates to personal data processed by the CheckRezerve application (hereinafter "Application"). The Application has been developed to enable restaurants to accept online reservations.

2. Data Collected

The Application processes the following personal data:

• Full Name: To identify the reservation holder.
• Phone Number: To send confirmation and reminder notifications.
• Reservation Details: Date, time, number of guests, special requests.
• Message Content: WhatsApp/SMS messages are analysed only when the AI feature is used.

3. Purpose of Data Use

• Creation and management of reservations.
• Confirmation and reminder notifications (SMS / WhatsApp).
• Business occupancy and reporting analytics for restaurants, hairdressers/barbers, spas, beauty salons, and fitness/pilates studios (no personal data included).

4. Data Sharing

Your personal data is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. It may only be shared with the following sub-processors for service delivery:

• Supabase Inc. Database infrastructure (USA, data processing agreement in place).
• Twilio Inc. SMS and WhatsApp notifications (USA, processed under SCCs).
• Anthropic PBC AI message analysis (USA; message content is retained for 0 days).

5. Data Retention Period

Reservation data is retained for 2 years unless the relevant restaurant requests otherwise or legal obligations require it. SMS/WhatsApp notification logs are deleted after 90 days.

6. Data Security

All data is transmitted over TLS/SSL encrypted connections. Database access is restricted through service role keys. Admin and restaurant panels require authentication.

7. Data Subject Rights (GDPR / KVKK Article 11)

Under applicable data protection law, you have the following rights:

• The right to know whether your personal data is being processed.
• The right to request information if it is being processed.
• The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• The right to request erasure of your personal data.
• The right to request restriction of processing.
• The right to data portability.

8. Cookies

The Application uses only httpOnly secure cookies for session management. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.

9. Changes

This policy will be updated upon significant changes and announced through the application. The current date is always shown at the top of the page.

11. In-App Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account at any time. When deleted, your profile, reservation history, and all personal data are permanently removed from our systems.

1. In the mobile app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete My Account.
2. Alternatively, send an email with subject "Account deletion request" to info@checkrezerve.com.
3. Your request will be processed within 7 business days and your account will be permanently deleted.

Data subject to legal retention obligations (e.g. invoicing records) may be retained anonymously until the statutory retention period expires.
